Saving What I Can’t Unsave

I used to have notebooks—well, I still do—filled with paper cutouts, saved receipts, and little bits of memorabilia from the most mundane adventures. I think the new trend is called junk journaling now.

At some point, all those mementos, magazine clippings, and colorful scraps of paper turned into clutter. Which, of course, led to a very dramatic Marie Kondo cleaning spree (a long story for another day).

So, the TL;DR: I’ve traded physical clutter for digital clutter. And in an effort to reduce even that, I’m sharing what I save—and can’t seem to unsave—with the world. Or at least, this tiny corner of it.

Enjoy.

The Long List (with opinions)

Henhouse

I stumbled upon this studio when I was pinning my life away on Pinterest. I fell in love immediately, their portfolio of work is absolutely gorgeous with rich colors, patterns and textures. (It’s also why I’m not getting rid of this save and will forever keep it open in my browser, see my problem now?)

The Vault

I love a good photo resource and this one has an elevated feel that you can’t always find with your everyday stock websites.

Benjamin Moore

I love this color, enough said.

Burrow

I’ve been thinking about adding a library to a very large blank wall in our living room and this piece from Burrow was inspiring me. ( The price tag wasn’t though. )

Heymat

Discovered this brand on Instagram and adored the colors of this rug!

Moft

I’ve been looking for a phone stand to help record videos of me illustrating and thought this was perfect. They sell stands for iPads too.

Monte Design

I’ve never heard of this brand before and I’ve been obsessed with their beds and couches. Also I’m a huge fan of transitional furniture so this may not leave my saved file for awhile.

Le Chateau

A very French antique shop in Atlanta, GA. They have unique pieces from lighting to bedroom sets. It may not be in my budget but I love to browse.

Kravet

Kravet is a home furnishings company and if you’re looking for inspiration on your next interior project, start here.

Danjmt

I discovered this hidden gem on Instagram. They sell beautiful second-hand jewelry and if you like something act quick! Their items sell fast.
